The author has done it again; a very entertaining story that includes a Big, Beautiful, Woman handling all that life throws a woman of her size. Accepting it, not taking the usual comments, proving that no matter what size of clothes a woman wears, it doesn't automatically mean failure. It also includes, what the book states, a man slut. But he sees no harm in having sex as he leaves them satisfied and is out front that it's just for sex and fun with no entanglements. But one day he's told that he has never felt love and will always be a man slut. With that on his mind, he hears a man talking to a BBW in a very awful manner and goes to her aid by pretending to be her boyfriend. This incident leads to many serious and hilarious situations down the road when they both come to an agreement of "pretend." They both come to the realization that what they think is not always true and must deal with the consequences. I've already given you too much, let me just say this is a terrific story of a strong woman, a story that needs to be told more often. Whether their story leads to love or unhappiness isn't the point, the point is that their story needs to be told. I've been one of those women for the better part of 60 years and have rarely seen a book from the point of view of a not perfect size woman, but one who is smart and not afraid to speak her mind and live her life. Kudos to the author, Avery Flynn, for giving us a wonderful story filled with the pain we fill, but also with the happiness and pleasure that is out there for all of us.
