This was a great ending to the series. It was filled with realistic action, suspense, thrills, danger, and surprises; the author involved the readers in everything that was going on, and in every location where it was happening. The main characters, Chloe and Cristian were the perfect characters to end the series with; the so-called nerds of the world can be proud of them. I think what I loved the best was once again meeting the main characters of the previous stories; just like in real life, they don't just disappear they're still active throughout the entire series. Of course, the love all the characters have for their country, family, and each other is just the icing on a magnificent series. I highly recommend this book to those who love realistic storytelling filled with thrills, suspense, action, danger and of course love. War doesn't end love it intensifies it.

She suffers the loss of her parents, one through abandonment the other through a horrific death by their own gypsy tribe. Finally accepting the truth she goes through her first change, with help from her newly discovered bond. Trying to find her father, whom she hopes will help explain what's happening as well as be accepted by his “family." This is a story of a young girl overcoming her fear of becoming a woman and learning how to accept and live with what she is. It's filled with a longing for family, love, and accepting what must be. I can't wait to read what adventures, dangers and maybe loves are in her future. Book 2, Legacy - Tairin's been hiding in plain site, amongst a gypsy tribe currently located in Germany, for the last 10 years. Hiding due to her mixed blood and if she's discovered she would be killed. In this tribe is Elliott the tribe's clairvoyant and seer of all the tribes. Elliott finds Tairin secretly listening to a meeting of leaders of the different tribes and they learn secrets about each other and just in time for a plan to destroy a Nazi location filled with prisoners. They discover a Nazi plan more dangerous and evil than the camps. Because of this they must all overcome centuries of prejudice and work with their enemy, the werewolves. The story is filled with action, danger, magic and of course terrific paranormal beings. The authors ability to write great stories during different historical periods and fantastical world building never ceases to amaze me. Book 3 Prophecy - As we've learned from the previous books, it can be extremely dangerous if her fellow Roms learned of her powers. She meets a wolf shifter Jamal and even though they try and fight it, they are drawn to each other. Trying not to tell you spoilers is hard, but know that the Nazi presence is strong and Ilona is caught and imprisoned with many of her fellow gypsies, Jews and others the Nazi's deem not of the correct race. Working along with the Nazi's are the evil vampires who are determined to destroy her and her family and friends for wiping out an entire group of vamps. We also learn more of Jamal's daughter and the man she loves ; and what happens when the Vamps try and control the group trying to destroy them. If the Roms and Shifters want to survive they must get past their hatred and distrust for each other. There's a surprise concerning Ilona; to discover what it is, as well as how she escapes from prison and what happens with the gypsies and shifters, when they have to work together to destroy their enemies, you'll have to get this great world building book with a touch of historical truth in it. We have mistrust, secrets, danger, lies, powerful magic and that's just within the group trying to work together. Book 4 Journey - We have arrived to the final book in the Dance Soul series, and I hate saying that. This has been a surprising, action-packed, thrilling adventure into a dark historical, but paranormal adventure. We have new characters as well as ones from the 3 previous books. The group is trying to escape from the Nazi's, and their vampires, to where they hope the Celtic gods will help them strengthen their magic. In this book, demons have joined the vampires in trying to stop this group of gypsies, shifters, and a surprising power hidden by one of their own. We also have an unknown power held by an unsuspecting gypsy, who has just joined the group, as they attempt to escape from the evil that wants to destroy them. The world building in this series is just down right amazing and if one believed in the paranormal, extremely plausible. Do not pass up this great story, or any of the series. The author, as always, welds a strong, imaginative, well researched story to tell. I highly recommend this series to all who love paranormal stories filled with "it could have happened" scenarios, magic, shifters and undying love. Book1 Deceived - I had no clue as to what the story was about, well it turned out to be about a spell, that had gone wrong many years before, and it was slowly destroying the earth. The backstory for how this happened, and what occurred during those years, is fascinating. We have shifters, magic and vampires and humans as well; and as you read you'll learn the good, the bad, and everything in-between that is slowly poisoning nature in such a way that the earth is now on a course of total destruction. We learn that there may be one way to stop and revive the planet; but is it real or just a myth. If it's real can the different races put aside there distrust and hatred for each, and work together in time to save not only themselves, but the planet and every living thing on it. Will they agree to it, even if it means they might forever be changed, becoming something new, neither just vampire or shifter. This story is filled with surprising twist and turns, even impossible love.Wow !!! Book 2 Twisted is jam packed with unexpected surprises. It appears that the reversal spell was too late to safe the world outside of Ushuaia; as expected and hoped by the characters in Deceived (book 1). The group of shifters have sailed from port to check out other locations for survivors and they discover that unknown evil and horrors have spread. They must fight to save not only themselves, but those few they find along the way, maybe the rest of humanity as well. It appears that the "cataclysm" had the power to release such evil upon the world that soon it could be all that will be left. We will have loss of friends and loved ones, but among the sorrow, pain and desperation, love will also be found. There is not enough reading between the lines to give you the complete range of action and feelings within the pages of Twisted. Book 3 introduces us to amazing shifters of the sea. These beings have lost thousands to the Cataclysm and the evil it has spread and trust no one. Evil can be anywhere, in anyone, shifter or human. Those on the ship continue to look for others, a land that has not been affected, a possible safe haven. Along the way more evil has again brought destruction and only a few people have survived; some join those on the ship while others chose to stay, once our band of heroes destroy the evil that had been decimating them for over 10 years. We find allies, but can they be trusted; I feel only time will tell. Those on the ship try to stay strong, not only for those they have found love with, but for humanity. Others discover new love and will fight all odds to stay together. This series is amazing in it's fantastic world building, strong characters and love and thrills. You never know what's coming next and when it comes, your fighting along side them as you read what they have to go through, what they learn along the way, that may or may not help not only them but mankind's survival. Do not pass up this series, you'll want to be along with them for the voyage that may save the earth and all that call it home. (less)

OMG this was one titillating, stimulating, erotic, absolutely filled with hotness story. It's a beautiful romantic story with two very outspoken characters good at not seeing the truth till it smacked them in the heart. I loved the twist the story had in store for both the characters; her with the man she wanted to marry, him with his family. Because of the sensual and emotiontal feelings the author put in it, it's a marvelous story of two people discovering what real passion is when you truly love someone. Loved the authors view on what occurred with Mr. Sherlock Holmes during the silent period by it's original author Arthur Conan Doyle. I believe the author stick to Doyle's view of Holmes to the letter. Most entertaining and a very methodical Holmes as always. It takes us through excitement and thrills, and fills in some interesting information not given to us before. Book 3 in Michele De Winton's Hot Tide Series, "The Wrong Brother for Brooke"

Book 3 of the Hot Ride Series and man oh man we're back in the beautiful ocean, this time in beautiful Bali. Brooke is here as one of the top woman contenders, and has her sights not only on a prize, but on a gorgeous Hawaiian surfer called Holo. But she can't seem to get his attention and when she misunderstands him and decides to join him for some possible fun in his hot tub, it turns out to be anything but fun as she discovers she just kissed a stranger. It just gets worse from there when the unthinkable happens and she's injured while riding a wave. Holo recommends his brother, Kai , a physiotherapist to help in her recovery. Well guess what, yep it turns out to be the stranger in the hot tub. Sooo, I'm not doing anymore spoilers. Just know that Brooke is use to doing things her own way and Kai will have to make her think differently. It's a great story of give and take, learning patience, accepting new ideas, which includes maybe forgetting old passions. The first story I've read in the box-set is the Bestselling, Award Winning Author and Screenwriter, Rebekah Ganiere's "The Bride." But danger not only comes from the unknown but from her self absorbed family as well. I've already given spoilers when I said I would not, so here I stop. Suffice it to say that there is so much more coming, danger, blood, evil, freedom, beauty, family betrayal of the worst kind, oh and lets not forget flying. But most of all love, filled with sensual passion and everlasting, love that defies the norm and changes both their lives forever. I absolutely loved the first book in this series the second brought some surfer PR smarts as well as fashion tips, but I missed the beauty, smell, the substance of the ocean that was in the first book. We have a good looking and smart girl when it comes to surfer business, i.e. promoting. Unfortunately she has no confidence in herself when it comes to men, especially one in particular. She needs to learn how to attract and reel him in. Enter the rich, good looking, always gets what he wants guy, but who needs he!p in learning about the surfing world in order to create a new clothes line. I loved the world building in this story; witches, dragon shifters, changelings, and beautiful Arabian horses all in the small town of Stillwater, CA. The story is filled with crazy sex spells, a dragon shifter whose inappropriate sexcapades got him kicked off his world and a witch whose family magic has her stuck to her horse ranch. I love this series. It has amazing sifters, great magick mages, evil vampires. Book 3 has a dragon shifter who left his shifter world a long time ago to be in the human world. But his bonded dragon is fed up and tells him he is needed. Meanwhile we have a mage who has wanted to be a shifter for ever and as some mages are now becoming shifters, she is more than eager. All shifters and mages are needed to help destroy the vampires who are taking and horribly using mages to become stronger and conquer the humans. The race is on; can everyone work together, find the vamps and destroy the poor mages they've corrupted. I tell you this book is filled with thrills and excitement and two shifters who are fighting not only their feelings, but are wondering if the life they've lived is the right one and can they even change their way if they wanted to. I try not to leave spoilers and it can be really hard when you read a book that brings such great characters and action. What an exciting historical romance. You can tell the author does plenty of research for this time period; so much so that you'd swear she was part of this great family. We have a man, known as a womanizer, who wants nothing of the settled married life and is use to doing what he pleases without having to answer to a wife. We also have family member who is determined not to marry a member of the "family" as her sister has done, but know not how to win and keep the man she wants.. After years of not seeing each other, they meet unexpectedly and wind up agreeing to help each other; one from trouble the other from spinsterhood. Help each other they do and both learn along the way that their lives can be so much better with changes they learn while helping each other. The story is not only thrilling and comical at times, but as always we learn more of the people who comprise this very different and unconventional family; and what would the story be without some scandal along the way. We have a great ending and more characters to read about in future Scandalous Scions wonderful stories. Royal and Reckless Box Set, review of Carmen Falcones "Ruined King"

The first story I read in this book set was by Carmen Falcone, "Ruined King" and I have to tell you it was a beautiful love story. It didn't start out to be about love but about saving each other from their individual situations and I think that is one of the reasons, why when they fall in love, it was so romantic. It isn't the author's usual erotic stories (that by they way are terrific) but it is still a sensual one. Excuse me while I ice my fingers and put drops in my eyes. This was one hot, delicious story. You know the joke about the French maid, well this isn't it, but we do have one sexy French maid and a fairly new separated husband who has decided to shut himself off from any dalliances. She cleans his apartment and one day he catches her on his bed pleasing herself and is instantly in lust with her. They're both physically enthralled with each and want to make sure it stays that way with no emotional entanglements; so it isn't long before an "arrangement" is made. This is all I'm giving you, cause anything else would just scorch your eyeballs. Pick up this amusing and erotic story and learn what ups and downs they go through to eventually get their happy ending, which by the way is while their flying to Africa and yes, the definitely join the Mile High Club. Second book in the " Wylde Magick" series and it just keeps getting better. We once again meet the mage Jeremiah, who having been saved by a shifter from poison he took to kill vampires, has somehow become a mage/shifter. This is totally new for him and he doesn't know how to treat his bonded rare and very old cave lion. Mages and shifters have been enemies for centuries and now that he's both, neither groups trust him. At the same time a shifter who is bonded to an ancient eagle is told by him that a lion cave has bonded and she must go immediately to find him. Everything goes downhill from there, he's a mage and can't be trusted since learning mages have been helping vampires. But not all is as it appears, for the alliance with the mages and vampires is even more sinister than they thought. This fascinating and great world building story is filled with mistrust, confusion, danger, horrific discoveries and the realization that past hatreds need not rule the present. Neither of them have wanted a mate, but both must accept that fate knows best.
